A Son Like Others

Antonio Sequeira – Born in 1995, Azores, Portugal, Antonio has been directing short films since he was 8 years old. After attending a 3-week summer workshop, in 2012, at the New York Film Academy, he wrote and directed, in 2013, his first feature film which was a sold-out premiere crowd. Later, Antonio got his BA in London to study the craft of filmmaking, and later received a scholarship from Creative Skillset to study an MA in the prestigious London Film School.

Gan de Lange born and raised at upper Galilee in the north of Israel. Graduated with honors from the Sam Spiegel Film School, Jerusalem. Her four short films participated in international film festivals in Israel and abroad and won a series of awards.

Faced with her daughter Yoshiko diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, and her husband overseas serving in the military, Saki Omura is finding it harder and harder to cope. It seems a now-daunting task for giving her daughter the best life possible.

Brian Blum is a film director based out of NYC. After high school, Brian went on to hone his skills at NYU’s prestigious Tisch School of the Arts, graduating in 2015. His NYU Thesis film, Blood and Water, won 1st prize at NYU’s showcase festival, the First Run Film Festival, and was shortlisted for a BAFTA Student Film Award in 2018.

Pablo Fajardo holds a degree in History of Art, (UCM, Madrid), a degree in Cinematography and Audiovisual Arts (TAI University Arts Centre, Madrid) and a Master’s Degree in Creativity and Scriptwriting from TV (URJC and Globomedia). His selected works include Jury Prize in the Courts des Isles Festival in Tahiti and featuring in the Short Film Corner of the Cannes Film Festival.

Yueh-Tzu Sun was born in Taiwan. After graduated from Kang Ning Junior College, she went to Los Angeles to pursue her dream, which gets filming skills, and absorb different experiences from Hollywood and contribute to Taiwan film industry. She’s currently studying in New York Film Academy.
