Synopsis
In a small fishing village during offseason a day is like another. The inhabitants live side by side like the elements of the landscape. But a small sway is enough to break the routine, and the closed worlds become close words. Special days reveal themselves only when they come close to end.

Director
Láng Orsolya was born in Romania. She studied film directing at the Sapientia University in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. She had a MA degree in animation at Moholy-Nagy Art University in Budapest, Hungary. “Off Season” is her diploma film. Currently she is a freelance film director, writer and graphic artist.

Synopsis
M52 is a 10 minutes animated short film made during the whole year 2017 as a creative challenge. The result is a surprising unexpected science fiction adventure into a distant future of mankind.

Director
Yves Paradis is a French-Canadian animator and illustrator from Montreal. He learned traditional and 3D animation in school and now continues to express his ideas through various art forms and mediums. To this day, he made 5 animated short films that where presented in various festivals in North America and Europe.

Synopsis
Post-apocalyptic triptych, contemplating on the state of the world after humans have gone extinct. Insects have replaced humans and perpetuate their violence – a robot paints a fresco in memory of the past civilization – and a walking living plant lists the last surviving plant species.

Director
Lucas Roussel, Charlotte Brun, Loïc Frimat, Vincent Labis, Adrien Lannoy and Alice Lepoutre have graduated from Supinfocom Rubika school (Valenciennes, France) with a Master in digital director. In 2018, they co-directed the short film “The Elephants Will Be Happy”.


This Side, Other Side
Director Lida Fazli

Synopsis
No boundary can prevent the formation of friends and affection between children.

Director
Lida Fazli was born in Zanjan at 1977. She graduated from AI Zahra university in Tehran and got B.A degree in custom designing and graduated from Tarbiat Modares university in Tehran and got M.A degree in animation. She got her diploma in 1994 and now working as newspaper cartoonist.

Synopsis
A tribute to the victims of terrorist attacks, an open door on the issue of carrying weapons, especially in the US, a message of hope and light against the darkness roaming around us.

Biography
Marie Lavis, a Belgian-French born in 1996. She graduated from HEAD-Genève, Bachelor in Visual Communication in 2018. She is now a freelance animator and illustrator. She mainly participated in diverse projects, particularly connected to music and culture. (Video clips, festival posters, editorial illustrations, etc.)
